Participants who are referred to the program do not receive community service hours through the program. They are sanctioned the community service as a consequence for their pending charge. These hours cannot be attained by participating with Teen Court.

It is unclear how this data has been interpreted/measured over the years given the above information.

Youth volunteers do, however, earn student service learning hours. It is possible that this is what has been tracked.
