Staff at New Transitions continues to adapt and learn better ways to serve families and meet their needs while being sensitive to the limited number of slots available. Due to the increased number of our families needing comprehensive support the total number of new families decreased while maintaining our census capacity of 50. Prior to discharge, navigation staff provides families with information on reconnecting to our program as well as other community supports needed in the future. In doing this, more students and families are able to access services each year.
