The number of families served is low at this time due to the referrals coming into the Department of Social Services being lower this fiscal year. This number is increasing.
The number of families served has increased due to the families in need being identified in the child welfare system and in substance abuse treatment. As a result of regular communication clients are able to be engaged more quickly.
