Program Summary
FFT is an evidence-based, family-focused program that has been applied successfully in a variety of contexts to treat a range of at-risk youth and their families. FFT targets youth whose problems range from acting out to conduct disorders to alcohol and/or substance abuse. It also provides treatment to the younger siblings of referred adolescents. Baltimore County’s FFT program is intended to be a prevention and early intervention program that prevents entry or deeper penetration into the juvenile justice, behavioral health, and/or child welfare systems.
Target Population
The target population is youth aged 10-17 and their families.
Services are home-based. FFT therapists travel throughout the County.
