Post-Secondary Education & Training Coordination (Washington FY15) Annual

Program Summary

Provides outreach and educational support services to teen parents in order to increase the number of parenting teens completing their GED/External Diploma Program and/or advancing their education beyond high school through college credit or continuing education classes. Coordinator will assist teen parents in participating in local community college programs but also other post-secondary programs offered locally such as vocational training in the trades, cosmetology, etc.

Pregnant teens or teen parents who reside in Washington County.
