Story Behind the Curve
The parent survey was revised this fiscal year, to be much shorter and therefore more likely to be returned to Parents as Teachers. However, Human Services Program did not have a Parents as Teachers home visitor for the second half of FY 18.
Partners
Carroll County Public Schools Judy Center, Human Services Program and Catholic Charities home visitors all adminsitered surveys to Parents as Teachers participants.
What Works
Parents as Teachers aims to provide parents with new skills and resources, which allows parents to appropriately support their childrens' development. The pre and post survey help measure how confident parents feel in understanding and supporting their childrens developmental milestones.

Data Discussion
Surveys are distributed to parents as they complete their Parents as Teachers program. The surveys are then provided to the Local Management Board at the end of each fiscal year.
