What Works
- Take-home baskets -- The kids particularly enjoyed preparing take-home food baskets once a month that contain all the ingredients and a recipe for them to make a healthy meal at home with their family.
- Enthusiastic instructors - We've found the kids to be particularly open when we have enthusiastic instructors leading the way.
- Expanded resources - Additional training for our leaders allowed us to be more creative in the way we reach the students
- Being present at school functions
