Partners for Project YES! program was each individual school. The school's administrative staff created a climate that was welcoming and supportive to the program. The staff supported the program by referring students to the program and “selling it” to those who could benefit from its’ supports.

Allegany County Public Schools has taken a supportive stance on Project YES and their beliefs in the value of the connection for students. Allegany County Public School’s vision is evident in Project YES by raising up all children to their potential with caring relationships, high expectations, and rigorous and relevant learning so that all students graduate ready for college and careers.

Project YES was also supported by the Local Management Board (LMB) through grant funding to ensure the program continued to support students within Allegany County Public Schools and improve attendance and grades for students.

Anytime a connection can be made between a caring adult and a student in the school setting, improvement is expected. What this data doesn’t represent are students who may have been considering dropping out, but despite grades and attendance not improving, the students were still enrolled in school working towards graduation.
