Members of the Coalition are now able to share their resources for others to benefit from. Food Pantries across the county have also started sharing food when one runs low or out of food. A resource guide to all the the Food Pantries in the county and their hours has been deveoped through the Coalition.
The backpack program is now run through the Culinary Center with a central location where all the food is ordered, packed and distributed to the schools, Judy Centers and Family Support Center. A family with underage children can also request a weekend backpack based on need.
