The Healthy Families America (HFA)Program, an in-home visitation program, uses an evidenced based model to serve high-risk prenatal women and children up to three years of age.Healthy Families America (HFA) is a leading national evidence-based home visiting model, meeting rigorous criteria for federal funding through the Maternal Infant Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) program. It is the primary home visiting model best equipped to work with families who may have histories of trauma, intimate partner violence, and mental health and/or substance abuse issues.
