The School-Based Substance Use Intervention Program provides substance abuse intervention services.The program, targets at-risk youth, by working with school personnel to increase the early identification of students who are using/abusing substances and provides school-based intervention for youth in the County’s middle and high schools.

Students in all four middle schools and three high schools in Allegany County, Maryland are eligible to participate.

Students participating in the program will be identified by school personnel based on their risk of using/abusing substances.
