Parents as Teachers - Carroll County Public Library (Carroll County FY 17) - Annual
Program Summary
PAT is a parent education and support program for families with prenatal-children age five. PAT includes home visits, developmental screening, group meeting and referral to community resources.
Target Population
Parents with children prenatal-five years that receive services from HeadStart, HSP Family Center, CCPS Judy Center and Carroll County Public Library child care. PAT educators and participating families can receive mental health consultation.
Promising Practice/Model/EBP Employed
PAT is a Strengthening America's Families model program and an OJJDP promising program. Carroll County PAT Educators are certified by PAT national.
