Garrett County Juveniles Services, Garrett County Social Services, Garrett County Health Department, Garrett County Public School System, Law Enforcement, Garrett County Detention Center, Garrett County Office of the Magistrate, State's Attorney for Garrett County, Variety of public and private Behavioral Health Providers. 

Strategies to improve these indicators

The JRB will be referred all Truancy case's by the DJS.  The care coordinator of the Local Access Mechanism will partner with the Garrett County Behavioral Health Jail Case worker for referrals of Adults that have been incarcerated to assist with housing, work, training, and other resources. 

Program Summary

This Program was not funded for FY19. 

Formerly the Local Access Mechanism (Navigation) and the Juvenile Review Board. By combining the two programs Garrett County will provide a more comprehensive approach to address at risk youth involved with criminal behavior and/or truancy issues. This program will continue providing families with referrals regarding local human services, as well as some care coordination services for families/youth with intensive needs.
