Program Summary
The Safe Space program for disconnected youth works to connect youth to culturally age appropriate soft skills and behavioral health services that will prepare them for re-engagement in school, academic supports and training opportunities or employment. Safe Space will be a physical space supported with intensive re-education and re-engagement programming that addresses trauma focused needs, for disconnected youth to gather in the community, made available from 6 pm to 12 am on Friday and Saturday nights.
Target Population
Disconnected youth in Montgomery County.
