What We Do
Develop and maintain partnerships with local community employers to ensure job placement opportunities.
Provide individual and group job readiness training to include: resume development, job searching/applications, interviewing (mock interviews), dressing for success, communication and teamwork, financial literacy, customer service etc....
Support internship opportunities with community employment partners
Placement in non-subsidized jobs with community employment partners
Job retention check-ins at 30, 60, 90 days of employment.

Choice Jobs services Howard County youth 15 to 25 years of age.
Why Is This Important?
Choice Jobs program in Howard County prepared Maryland's youth for the work world. The program utilizes a supported employment model that delivers community-based vocational services that include a job readiness curriculum, individualized service planning, and supported job placement.
Program Summary
Placing youth in vocational settings by providing job readiness training and maintaining a network of community employment partners.
Target Population
Disconnected youth starting at the age of 15.
