Program Summary
Project Yes! Is a truancy prevention program that will operate out of all Allegany County Middle and High Schools with staff providing supports and training to elementary school staff.Project Yes! utilizes Check & Connect, an evidence based comprehensive intervention model designed to enhance student engagement at school and with learning for marginalized, disengaged students, through relationship building, problem solving and capacity building, and persistence.
Target Population
Middle School students at Washington, Braddock, Mount Savage, and Westmar Middle schools are eligible to participate.
Students identified as high-risk (high truancy, absenteeism) by school personnel will be targeted for intervention.Measures
